There are many great resources for
internet marketing campaigns in the various Search
Engines. Many of them go into great detail about
Search Engine positioning, e-mail newsletters,
"sticky sites" and so on.
I strongly recommend reading through
some of these sites in order to gain an understanding
of the many types of marketing available.
There does however, appear to be one
area of information that is in very short supply. What
methods work in various geographic locales.
As an example, you are sending an
email advert to companies in Japan.
- How should the mail be laid out ?
- How should you address the reader
?
- Is HTML mail acceptable in Japan
?
- Is a poorly translated version
better received than a plain English version.
- Is a blatant email advert even
acceptable In Japan
These and many other questions need to
be addressed before the start of any truly effective
internet marketing campaigns. Some of the questions
above raise their own new questions.
The list above is
not extensive but, before you spend money with your
marketers. It may be worth asking how they handle such
campaigns. The very good ones will have this
information to hand.
That concludes the brief section of
demographics. Remember you can check back now and
again to see the developments of the limited versions
of SIPAX and DEPIUM by simply book marking this page.
